Details of Order Cancellation or Modification Requested before Shipment Explained...
PLEASE UNDERSTAND: As much as we desire to properly assist in any and all orders, we cannot be responsible for orders placed without assistance and/or acknowledgement to these terms and conditions of purchase.
Details about cancellation and/or modification for orders that have not shipped:
- At time of order, all orders placed are processed through the payment means you've selected. This payment includes credit card fees that StepUP Stair is charged of 3.75% at time of purchase and are NOT refundable despite being refunded to you; our customer. This is the least amount you will be charged if you cancel the order within 24 hours.
- Also after one (1) business day, there will be an additional 3.25% or $25; whichever is greater, processing/cancellation charge.
- If ANY modification to your order is requested or needed, we are more than happy to assist. Please do NOT place an additional order. We are happy to provide these within the 24 hour time-of-order placement; usually at no additional charge. However, if the value decreases in value by 10% or $100; whichever is less, the fees mentioned previously may be imposed on the order difference.
- If modification to the order are requested or needed after one (1) business day, we are still able to assist versus placing an additional order; which will cost you more. Depending on how far the order processing has occurred, we may require an additional charge; typically $25 per changed item or max of $50 per order. If individual products are reduced or removed, these items will be additionally charged as shown above regarding processing fees after one (1) business day.
- Any order placed that includes either a discount or free shipping that reduces the value below the threshold of the discount provided because of the modifications will additionally have the discounts/free shipping modified accordingly. Any order placed that includes either a discount or free shipping that increases the value to a greater discount or meet a free shipping because of a modifications will not automatically be entitled to these discounts. We will maintain any current discount and/or free shipping based on the order originally placed if it still qualifies.
- Any order placed for any stocked items that is not scheduled to be shipped the following business day are eligible to be cancelled without additional charges; as shown above. Additional charges would be either 7% or a $25 handling charges; whichever is greater. Potential exceptions may apply, subjected to StepUP Stair Parts discretion on a case by case basis.
- Any order placed for any stocked items scheduled to be shipped the following business day may be still cancelled with a 30% restocking charges on the stocked stair parts. An additional charge could be on the shipping/handling of 7%. Potential exceptions may apply, subjected to StepUP Stair Parts discretion on a case by case basis.
- Any order placed for any non-stocked items are typically NOT able to be cancelled after 2 business days. Any non-stock stair parts not significantly manufactured or processed may be able to be cancelled but will impose processing fees beyond additional charges outlined above. Exceptions may apply, but are subjected to StepUP Stair Parts discretion along with each individual order.
Please understand that the order processing, change and cancellation fees are modest and reflect the true expenses to provide these modification for you, our customer are are only valid until the shipping has occurred. If shipping has already occurred, please review our Return Policy & Procedure.
